Power of storytelling in Junior Play

The Junior Play is staged annually and is open to all students in Years 7-9.

A wide of range of plays that have been staged in the past few years have included 'Boy Overboard' and 'A Midsummer Night's Dream', 'Dogg's Hamlet' and 'Puffs'. Many of these productions have valuable curriculum links to English, Religion and Ethics, History and other subjects.

The Junior Play provides opportunities for students to develop their skills not only in performance but also in production areas such as set construction, costume making and backstage assistance.

This production also allows students to develop collaborative skills in working with a range of ages and gives the opportunity for boys to work with girls from a range of nearby independent school such as Pymble Ladies’ College, Ravenswood School for Girls, Loreto Normanhurst and Abbotsleigh.
